Responsible Use

Last updated: May 10, 2026

ExitCall is a personal safety tool. It helps you leave situations that feel unsafe, awkward, or unwelcome. This page explains how to use it responsibly — and what we ask you not to do with it.

What ExitCall is for

Leaving a date that turned uncomfortable. Stepping out of a meeting, gathering, or networking event when you want to. Feeling safer on a solo trip or late-night ride. Rehearsing a difficult conversation before it happens. ExitCall is designed for these moments — moments where having a believable reason to step away protects your time, your comfort, or your safety.

What ExitCall is not for

Don't use ExitCall in ways that harm others. In particular:

AI personas

ExitCall lets you set the caller's name, voice, and role, and to link a persona to a contact on your device. The persona's name and any contact link are private references for you. They are not an authorisation to claim that a specific real person — including the linked contact — actually called or said anything. The voices are AI-generated and should not be presented as a real human's voice.

Enforcement

Use of ExitCall in violation of this policy or our Terms of Service may result in suspension or termination of your access to paid features. We may also report unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities. ExitCall does not store call audio or conversation content on our servers, but you remain solely responsible for how you use the app.

Report misuse

If you believe ExitCall has been used against you, or you have seen it misused, contact us at support@exitcall.app. Include as much detail as you can. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
